ode to ranunculus

ode to ranunculus

Greetings from the couch, where I have spent 90% of this first full day of Spring, 2018 :)

Snow days as an adult might be even better than they were back in the day. It's the perfect excuse to be totally lazy and indulgent minus any guilt about what you "should" be doing. (Or at least that's what I'm telling myself about this day, which involved copious amounts of Bravo, similarly copious amounts of homemade chocolate chip cookies, and hours to spend painting JUST FOR FUN!) Anyway, for a post about ranunculus I'm spending a lot of time talking about my day so let's get to it!

I was just looking through photos I had favorited on my phone to see if there was a possible post hiding in there. It didn't take long to notice a common thread... you guessed it... ranunculus. So, this is really just an excuse to share a bunch of those pictures because they bring me so much happiness and I hope they do the same for you! So much pink, so many ruffle-y layers of petals, so much spring joy to look forward to once all this snow melts. Though I wouldn't say no to another snow day if that's in the cards.

There's lots more pics where these came from, but scroll down to see some of the best bunches I've seen so far this year. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday evening and even more wonderful Spring to come!

xoxo,
Alix
